Cathy Cray 5K in Amherst, NH

Heidi and Pierre were at Cathy Cray’s 5K in Amherst, NH on July 16, 2022. Cathy was a wife, sister, mother, grandmother, a lifelong health enthusiast, and avid runner.  She was a beautiful person inside and out. This was the one-year anniversary of her passing, and everyone could feel the love her family, friends, and community have for her. More than 350 people came out on a hot summer day to show their love and support and to contribute to increasing lung cancer awareness.

The White Ribbon Project extends thanks to Jerry, Deirdre Flynn-Hewett, Ryan, Colin, and Brendan for inviting  The White Ribbon Project as their charity of choice to fund. We are making history as a TEAM and growing awareness and the lung cancer community throughout the United States and globally. The Cray family is a big part of this growing team and is leading the way- showing that people DO care about people affected by lung cancer. Their efforts are making it possible to build and distribute ribbons and grow the community, encouraging them to find their voices and roar that people affected by lung cancer are worthy of empathy, compassion, and appropriate research funding.
