That was the message of a White Ribbon Project event at City of Hope, Orange County this week.'

Michelle Hills and Kristi Wells-Freeman, who’ve both survived stage four lung cancer, emphasize more needs to be done about radon detection. Neither Hills or Wells-Freeman are smokers, yet since 2018, both were diagnosed with lung cancer.

The idea of making an impact through photography was what drew Ninson to his most recent project, “Portraits of Lung Cancer,” a series with AstraZeneca showcasing eight people living with lung cancer across the United States.
