Bonnie Bishop-Ulrich was a lung cancer survivor and one of the first officers of The White Ribbon Project (Secretary). Bonnie was initially diagnosed with stage 1a lung cancer in December 2006 and had a partial lobectomy in January 2007. She stayed cancer-free until October 2019 when she was diagnosed with stage III non-small cell lung cancer.  Sadly, her cancer progressed, and she died on May 17th, 2022.

Bonnie was a Certified Legal Assistant and was employed with a nationwide law firm based in Atlanta, GA.  She was the secretary to the Senior Managing Partner and worked out of the office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.   She was a wife, mother, grandmother and fierce advocate for the lung cancer community.

Bonnie was successful in obtaining numerous proclamations to honor her community and her medical facility regarding lung cancer awareness. We miss her greatly but take comfort in knowing that she continues to inspire us to continue advocating for those affected by lung cancer.
